Kitaj, Marisol, Susan Rothenberg, and many others. In Company demonstrates profound connections and lasting influences between contemporary visual art and contemporary writing. The exhibition was curated by Elisabeth Licata and travelled by the Castellani Art Museum of Niagra University, New York and the Weatherspoon Art Gallery, University of North Carolina at Greensborough. The exhibition and publications received support from the Lannan Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
